The default setting for your email providers is: SM address will appear in Gmail inboxes if you are using a SM email provider.
Note: If your email address provider is Gmail, your SM address may not appear in the email inbox.
You may have to manually change the email address.
This feature is available for a limited time, starting April 24, 2019, and is currently only available for new users of the Gmail service.
The Gmail app also has some advanced SM address features, which you may want to check out.
You also can configure Gmail to display your SMs email address in the app.
